About Wilkins & Wilkins Jim & Lisa Wilkins

Jim and Lisa are Wilkins & Wilkins. Incorporated in North Carolina in 1993 and continuously in business since, Wilkins & Wilkins General Contracting, Inc. is the extension of their lifelong connection with the construction industry. Lisa's father was an architect and builder and Jim's father was a custom cabinet maker. Jim grew up helping his dad in the cabinet shop (seen above at age 5 taking a break) and eventually established his own successful construction company based in the eastern part of Long Island in New York. When they moved to North Carolina, they brought their passion for perfection and expertise with execution and are still creating a legacy of beautiful work.

Clients report that Lisa’s cheerful professionalism infuses all that happens in the office. From contact with clients, to preparation and organization of paperwork related to estimates and contracts, to financial concerns relating to project budgets and payroll, Lisa handles all with care and precision. Jim’s meticulous attention to detail shows up in planning, on the job site, and in the actual construction of each project. Whether renovating a small bathroom or constructing multiple buildings on an estate, Jim wears his tool belt and is on site personally building and supervising all aspects of the construction.

Jim and Lisa’s shared focus on detail is what separates them from all other builders. They commit to one project at a time, bringing their full attention to each job in turn ensuring that each project is completed flawlessly when promised.
